Comparative Criticism, the annual journal of comparative literature and cultural studies founded in 1979, ceased publication in 2004 and was incorporated with New Comparison into the new BCLA journal Comparative Critical Studies, appearing three times a year.

Edited by Elinor Shaffer (School of Advanced Study, University of London), Comparative Criticism was published for the BCLA by Cambridge University Press until 2002; the final issue, Volume 25 (2003), was published by Edinburgh University Press and is available to the Association's members at a discount.

The full series of Volumes 1 - 25 (except for Vols. 8 and 11) are available from Cambridge University Press at member's discount and can be viewed here. Volumes 5 - 10 may also be ordered from www.amazon.co.uk and other volumes may be obtained from www.amazon.com.
